Election Fraud?

Comments Off on Election Fraud?

Benedict Michael Gummer formed a company called Ipswich Campaigning Ltd – which is believed to have traded and is listed in select business directories such as The Sun, under Employment Services and the number 0845 605 0129. which appears to have been previously used for ITFC ticket sales.

The company was disposed off months before the 2015 General Election. No financials were ever filed at Companies House. You don’t get free phone numbers assigned to you on registering a company, it is a different 0845 number to the one of political marketing leaflets and you are not automatically added to online business directories. So as the sole director he has gone out of his way to achieve this. He also went out of his way to delay the date accounts need to be filed by extending accountancy period – you have 9 months to file them.

We are unsure if this was a company used to hide election expenses or obtain bribes off-record donations. It is also entirely possible Ben Gummer was acting as a pimp of chuggers and other harassing sales people that blighted Ipswich town centre. Or it might be something else?

Unfortunately, I don’t have the authority or capability to obtain business bank account statements or to force an answer out of “experienced” businessman Ben Gummer of what the company was about. So this information is public domain – you can Google the business name to discover for yourself. For reference, some snapshots are below. Perhaps this need to be referred to the police?
