The short clip sees the London man gyrate as the dancer bends over in front of him and shakes her booty.
Owning the situation, John claimed he was just having some fun after working non-stop for two years, and that he couldn’t be at carnival and not take part in some traditional Caribbean dance.
His series of posts included: “First time in carni and they didn’t let me move without holding a few .
“Can’t lie though… carnival got my left leg twisted. Someone try do some acrobatics I wasn’t ready for.
“I’ve worked two years straight and this is my free time. I am embracing life! .
“Alright that’s me done for the day. In prep for carni next year I will prepare my own float, stunt doubles and pre-booked hip replacement.❤️”

One disgruntled Twitter user claimed the moves were demeaning to the strong female characters in the Star Wars universe.
But John wasn’t buying it, responding: “Yep! Rey would back it up!!!! Wooooooiiiiiii ”
The star has been praised for his leading role in racially-charged drama Detroit, directed by Kathryn Bigelow.

Speaking to NME, he said: “This movie is no longer an escape from our reality – it’s an in-depth look at it. You go outside and hear the same things are still going down. You watch Detroit knowing there’s a part for you to play right now.
“It’s not a film where all that injustice is ended and done, it’s asking you: what’s your role in this? I’ve questioned myself on that and understand I’ve failed at meeting those responsibilities, even just in clarifying it’s not a responsibility for me to shoulder.
Discussing  how it feels starring in high-profile films, he added: “No movie has ever intimidated me, big or small. The smaller movies can actually be more challenging because it requires you to be the machine and make them. I don’t ‘make’ Star Wars, you’re a part of that machine, a piece of the puzzle. Detroit has been the biggest step in my career.”
